Want to schedule a LERT activity in the LCMS LERT system?
LERT teams do not have to wait for disasters to serve their congregations with works of Christian mercy. The ordinary days of congregational life offer many opportunities for regular LERT service.
You can fill out a LERT Activity Request form on the LCMS LERT site if your LERT team would like to host an ordinary activity such as:
- Service projects for the aged, shut-in, single parent, etc. in your congregation or community
- Assemble LERT flood buckets or survival kits
- LERT training day for your congregation or circuit team. "Continuing Education" should be a goal of every LERT team!
The information you submit will be forwarded to your District Disaster Response Coordinator (DDRC) and they can build your event into an Announcement or LERT Training/Deployment posting on the LCMS LERT system.
If you would like your DDRC to post your LERT activity, please fill out the form (see the illustration below for the link placement on LCMS LERT) and fill it out. Your DDRC will contact you to get any other information that may be needed.
