We have experienced numerous disasters nationwide seemingly simultaneously. This may have impacted our pool of volunteers to travel to Iowa to hang drywall. Therefore, in Spencer and Hawarden, IA a decision was made to begin delivering drywall to effected basements in place of hanging drywall. However, if a team of LERT volunteers decide to come to Iowa to hang drywall we will be able to provide a basement to work in until the end of August.
Please contact Kris Schuldt as early as possible so arrangements can be made for a basement location to work in and for housing. Crews will need to bring their own drywall and taping tools. Housing will be provided at camp Okoboji and all meals will be provided.
