As of now the SID disaster response group has been asked to report to the Augusta, GA site.
The assistant DDRC for the SID, Bryce Cramer, is planning to leave Murphysboro, early Monday, Oct 7, to drive to Augusta. He plans to take the Bobcat mini-skid with him. If someone would be willing, he would appreciate someone pull the disaster trailer with saws and equipment to Augusta.
Logistics for where to stay have not been completed at this time but will be coming shortly. Be sure to like (fan) the Florida-Georgia District to make sure you receive updated information and directions as to how to sign up for the deployment.
If you are interested in deploying to Augusta, GA., either on Monday or at a later date, please contact Bryce Cramer by either email or cell phone so we may coordinate travel plans.
LERT background checks will be required to stay in LERT housing. If yours is not current, please go here to start your background check:LERT background check link
LERT background checks are now available at no cost to LERT volunteers. LCMS Disaster Response is covering the cost of the background check.
