Thank you for being patient with us. With three hard hit areas to assess and determine how we can best serve our churches, their staff and members, and their communities, in ever-changing situations, it has been a challenge.
3 areas of response are being established:
- Tampa/St. Petersburg, FL area: This will be a flood cleanup response. Messiah Lutheran Church, Tampa, will be the host location, offering their facilities for volunteer housing. Work will generally be done in the St. Petersburg area, where at least 75 LCMS members had storm surge damage.
- Valdosta, GA area: This will be a tree cleanup response. Messiah Lutheran Church, Valdosta, will be the host location. Housing is still being determined, but will be posted in the deployment.
- Augusta, GA area: This will be a tree cleanup response. Our Redeemer Lutheran Church will be the host location. Housing is still being determined, but will be posted in the deployment.
