After prayerful consideration due to logistical issues, it has been decided it best to cancel the Southern Illinois District Disaster Response Retreat scheduled for May 2, at Camp Wartburg.
While this is disappointing as a team in Nashville has been diligently working to have the new District Disaster trailer ready in time and we were hoping to be able to show it at the retreat, we continue to pray our Lord will bless all you who volunteer during disasters. The SID is blessed to have many LERT volunteers that are ready and prepared to step forward with their hands and feet (and backs and chainsaws) to bring God's love to many. May God continue to bless each and every one of you.
