This LERT (Lutheran Early Response Team) Training Event is for obtaining new or renewing/reviewing volunteer certification, enabling volunteers to be received at disaster clean-up sites. This training prepares groups to be on a local team that stands ready to respond when disasters happen, and where victims of storm damage are in need of assistance.
Grace will be paying will pay for lunch, training materials, certificate/ID card, and LERT volunteer t-shirt. The LERT Trainer will distribute all class materials and the post-class material. Donations are welcome.
Training will take place in the Fireside Room at Grace Lutheran Church in New Albany, Indiana from 9am to 2pm. Doors will open at 8:30am.
