Basic Lutheran Early Response Training (LERT) class will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Grace Lutheran Church, 9076 Middlebrook Pike, Knoxville, TN beginning at 9:00 am. Participants will be introduced to the LCMS Disaster Response program, learn the basic nature of disasters, the opportunities to respond to personal needs and how Lutherans can support families, congregations, and their communities as the hands and feet of Jesus.
In the aftermath of a disaster, its crucial to stay focused on the task at hand. The most important factor of our LERT volunteer training is MERCY.
The class size is limited to 25 people; lunch will be provided; the class fee is $15.00 per person. The class will be from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
The training will equip you to be an effective volunteer. Basic LERT training is mandatory for all volunteers.
