St Paul’s Lutheran Church in Perham is hosting a Basic LERT training is on Saturday, March 23rd from 8:30am to 3:00 pm. Congregations are encouraged to send a group of people to this training so that you can continue as LERT-trained teams when you get back home. Registration begins at 8:30am with check-in. The training begins promptly at 9:00am
Also, this training is scheduled in advance of LERT Basic Chainsaw Training at Lutheran Island Camp for those who need to complete Basic LERT training which is a prerequisite to chainsaw training.
The cost is $35 per person and payable at the event and includes all materials, refreshments and lunch. Checks payable: “MN North District-LERT training”. Your LERT Trainer will distribute all materials for, and after, the class.

Because the timeline is short, we need to receive pre-registrations TEN DAYS PRIOR to the event or the event may be cancelled. Walk-ins are permitted but cannot be guaranteed materials.
For online registration:
- Every person must use their own email address to register for a LCMS LERT account (two people cannot use the same email address). If you already have LERT account do not create a new account. You will be guided through a series of screens to complete. You must accept the waiver to be registered.
- After completing your account sign up, go to the left sidebar for DISTRICTS and then select MN NORTH DISTRICT for more details about the training.
- Select the training event to attend: [Perham] and complete preregistration for the event.
