Basic LERT-trained and LERT-qualified chainsaw operators have the opportunity to join in this cleanup day at Lutheran Island Camp on Saturday, October 5.
This is NOT a training day for chainsaw certification. Chainsaw operators must bring their own chainsaws and all required PPE.
Work will consist of tree, branch and debris removal to clear a line of sight from the ERC (retreat center) to the lake. Basic LERT personnel will serve as draggers and pullers to clear the area.
Dress appropriately for the weather.
Lunch will be provided.
