LERT chainsaw operators are needed to cleanup tornado damage on the campus of Concordia Seminary.
LERT volunteers are also needed to drag and pick up limbs.
All volunteers are required to wear Yellow LERT shirts or vests. All chainsaw operators are required to wear all PPE.
We will have water and Gatorade on site. At this time, we will not be able to provide lunch.
Please contact Kris Schuldt if you need local housing. We only have 13 openings for housing over the weekend.
Our deployment will begin Saturday morning. Many of the roads are blocked by downed trees so at this writing it is unclear if we can get to the campus yet. I will try to meet the Maintenance Manager at 7:00am and will hopefully know more then about getting in and about where to meet and park. Please wait till at least 8:00am to contact me about the conditions and when you can arrive.
