LERT chainsaw operators are needed to cleanup tornado damage on the campus of Concordia Seminary. We have 35 additional trees to fell, limb and buck on the campus.
LERT volunteers are also needed to drag and pick up limbs.
The Seminary is now in possession of a skid steer and dump trailer that will be available to assist us.
Any team with a lift available please contact Kris Schuldt 314-971-5747.
All volunteers are required to wear Yellow LERT shirts or vests. All chainsaw operators are required to wear all PPE.
We will have water and Gatorade on site. Lunch will be provided.
Please contact Kris Schuldt if you need local housing. We have five 2 bedroom apartments at the Seminary for housing.
Our deployment will begin Wednesday morning. We will meet in the Library/visitor parking lot each morning at 8:00am.
Note: we are planning to conduct a chainsaw class on Saturday June 21 in conjunction with this deployment. Nine of the 35 trees that we will be felling will be left for the students to limb and buck as part of their class work.
