LERT Chainsaw and debris removal Volunteers needed! We are asking for qualified LERT chainsaw Operators in assisting with debris removal to help with the removal of damaged trees near Arnold, MO. Currently meals will not be provided, however there is an effort in progress to perhaps provide meals and we won't have confirmation until Thursday.
All volunteers are requested to wear a yellow LERT shirt or vest. All volunteers are required to wear sturdy boots, leather work gloves and bring a hard hat and hearing protection. All Chainsaw operators must wear appropriate PPE.
At this time, LERT volunteers are asked to be self-sufficient, in that they provide their own equipment and PPE - unless otherwise determined in consultation with the Site Coordinator.
Water and Gatorade will be provided.
All LERT volunteers are requested to report at St. John Lutheran Church, 3517 Jeffco Blvd, Arnold, Mo. 63010 at 9:00am.
Only registered LERT volunteers will be allowed to participate.
