LERT Chainsaw and debris removal Volunteers needed!  Local LERT volunteers have assessed the damages from the wind damage on 6/30 and are asking for local qualified LERT chainsaw Operators and others interested in assisting with debris removal to help with the recovery within and around the neighborhood of the St. Matthew church area.

At this time, LERT volunteers are asked to be self-sufficient, in that they provide their own equipment and PPE - unless otherwise determined in consultation with the site-coordinator.

Lunch and water will be provided by members of St. Matthew.

All LERT volunteers are requested to report at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 5402 Wren Ave. St. Louis, Mo 63120 at 8am. Only registered LERT volunteers will be allowed to participate!

Inclement Weather Plan: Weather will be monitored on the day of the deployment. If we experience thunder and lightning we will remain in St. Matthews.
Get Connected Icon Is Not Wheelchair Accessible
Get Connected Icon All volunteers need to wear a yellow LERT vest or shirt.
Get Connected Icon All volunteers need to wear sturdy boots. The chainsaw certified volunteers must wear all approved PPE.
Get Connected Icon Volunteers that will be picking up debris are asked to bring their own good work gloves.
Get Connected Icon All volunteers need to bring a hard hat.
Get Connected Icon LERT background checks are required for this deployment
