This event is sponsored by North DakotaLERT and is in partnership with Shepherd's Hill at the Crossroads Camp.
The purpose of this event is to give participants an opportunity to serve with the love of Christ helping with tree work and debris removal.
Description of work:
This project will involve tree work and debris removal, activities common to storm-damage recovery efforts.
IMPORTANT NOTES
LERT background checks are
required for this Deployment because we are working in people's homes. The LCMS
LERT system will take you to the Sterling Volunteers site to get your
background check (no cost to all LERT volunteers) when you sign up for this LERT
Deployment.
Housing Details:
- Bunkbeds will be provided
- Bring bedding and towels...
- Shower provided
- Meals will be provided to participants.
What you need to bring:
Participants will need to bring their own PPE and equipment.
Clothing appropriate for the season.
Toiletries and prescription medicines
Sturdy shoes/work boots will be necessary.
Work gloves
Protective eyewear
Long pants (jeans) and work shirts (of course, socks, etc.!)
Bedding and towels.
