This deployment is continued debris cleanup operations from the June derecho in NE Oklahoma. The homeowner gracefully offered to postpone cleanup until cooler spring weather.
The work requires chainsaw operations to clear piled debris in the middle of the property. In addition, we will split the logs for the homeowner. We will need six (6) volunteers to assist in the mercy work moving the debris to cutup for firewood.
Our plan is to use chainsaws and heavy equipment to lessen the burden to volunteers.
This will be an early operation to minimize risks of heat related injuries.
We will meet at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Claremore, OK on Monday, May 5 at 8:30 am for carpool to worksite.
