Severe storms moved through Northern Oklahoma on April 17, dropping hail and bringing damaging winds. A confirmed EF0 tornado touched down near Ponca City, causing damage in the area.
Volunteers will be working to fell, buck and limb multiple trees on the property.
First Lutheran Church will be hosting local LERT volunteers for debris cleanup and chainsaw operations.
All volunteers should register on the LERT website. The site supervisor will notify volunteers of the worksite.
Lunch will be provided.
Volunteers operating chainsaws must be LERT trained and bring their personal protective equipment.
