This event is being led by Pastor Eric Hollar of Shepherd's Heart Ministry.
The base camp will be at St. John Lutheran Church, 2001 Hardy St, Hattiesburg, MS 39401
The purpose of this event is to give participants an opportunity to serve with the love of Christ helping with tree work and debris removal following damaging storms last month.
Description of work: This project will involve tree work and debris removal, activities common to storm-damage recovery efforts.
IMPORTANT NOTES: LERT background checks are required for this Deployment because we will be working in people's homes and staying overnight on a church campus. The LCMS LERT system will take you to the Sterling Volunteers site to get your background check (no cost to all LERT volunteers) when you sign up for this LERT Deployment.
