LERT background checks are required for this deployment.
LERT Chainsaw and debris removal Volunteers needed! The Southern Illinois District Disaster Response Team has assessed the damages from the wind damage on 6/30 and is asking for local qualified Chainsaw Operators and others interested in assisting with debris removal to help with the recovery within and around the Nashville, IL area.
At this time, volunteers are asked to be self-sufficient, in that they provide their own food each day and equipment - unless otherwise determined in consultation with the site-coordinator.
All volunteers are requested to report at Trinity Lutheran Church 680 W Walnut Nashville, Ill at 8am. Only registered volunteers will be allowed to participate!
The district will have some chaps and hard hats available.
