Trainings & Deployments From: LCMS Disaster Response & Training

Volunteer: LERT Local Team Event, Drywall R&R, St. John Lutheran Church, Lohman MO, 3-23 thru 27-2026

LERT volunteers are needed to remove and replace 1 to 2 sheets of wet drywall in the Pastor's office. It is anticipated that we will conduct demolition and mold mitigation on the first day of the deployment. On the second day, we will install new insulation and drywall and begin taping and mudding.

Local forces will load the debris in a trailer for removal.

Lunch, water and Gatorade will be provided by the local church.

We will have most of the tools that are necessary for demolition and hanging drywall. Volunteers can provide their own tools if they so choose. All volunteers are encouraged to wear yellow LERT shirts or vests along with appropriate work boots and gloves.

If any volunteers need housing, please contact Kris Schuldt pitchatent@centurytel.net.
