Atlantic District LERT

Our goal is to open communication channels and establish regional contacts and training across the Atlantic District.  The goal is to ensure that in the event of any disaster (natural or man-made), we are equipped to respond quickly, effectively, and with compassion—bringing both practical help and the hope of Christ.

This network will:
✅ Make it easier for our churches to share needs and opportunities for help
✅ Allow teams to deploy locally, practicing and building relationships among our churches
✅ Foster a spirit of mutual care and support — so no congregation faces a crisis alone

In addition, we aim to:

• Coordinate more District-wide training opportunities
• Develop a system of regional response centers with basic caches of supplies
• Strengthen our readiness to serve together in Christ’s name
