There are nearly a dozen active LERT deployments in North Carolina to help our fellow LCMS churches and a camp recover from Hurricane Helene. Some are listed for the upcoming weeks. Others are listed for upcoming months and through the Summer. Unlike a lot of our immediate response deployments, these do not include tree work. General labor is needed for those who are physically able. Most of the active deployment descriptions read as follows: "This project will involve, debris removal, replacing insulation and drywall, and other activities common to storm damage recovery efforts due to damage from Hurricane Helene."
