Call to Serve in Spartanburg SC

Lutheran Servants for Christ (LSC) in partnership with the Southeastern District is posting deployments to Spartanburg, SC, through the third week of November. Areas of Spartanburg have not received assistance since Hurricane Helen. Spartanburg Emergency Operations is working with over 600 homeowners to identify tree removal needs and home repairs. They have reached out to us for assistance. A new mission plant, Resurrection Lutheran Mission, is taking shape and will be meeting with each homeowner that we serve. We are thankful for the many LCMS Disaster Responders and RSOs who have been helping with these recovery efforts, now one year after the Hurricane.
