LERT volunteers will be needed in the upcoming weeks to clear trees at 7 locations in Missouri. As these locations are in different cities. I anticipate needing to create 7 deployments on possibly 7 different days. I will be working to combine and reduce the quantity of deployments if possible. Two of the Missouri chainsaw deployments are posted as of this posting. And three additional ones will be posted over the next few days. Please consider signing up for at least one of these deployments. Or all of them if you have time.
Three of the tree locations will require a lift. Six locations will require a skid steer. One will require the dump trailer. There are approximately 57 trees in total at the 7 locations.
Currently there is a deployment scheduled for the recent Wisconsin tornado on August 8 from the EF-3 tornado. Please fan the Wisconsin district and keep an eye out for further deployments. If any Missouri team or team leader would be interested in leading a group of Missouri LERT volunteers to Wisconsin for a week, please let me know, and I will assist your efforts. Chainsaw operators, pullers and draggers will be needed at each location. All chainsaw operators and pullers will be required to wear appropriate PPE. All draggers are encouraged to bring a hard hat, work gloves and work boots.
