What: Tree damage and debris cleanup
Where: Inner City, Kansas City, KS (Quindaro District)
When: To be announced: As early as Thursday, August 27 through Sunday, August 30, 2026. Initial assessments are being done in partnership with local churches and Wyandotte Co. Emergency Management. Presently, we are waiting for the "all clear" from the utility companies.
Who: Chainsaw operators and volunteers who have completed LERT Basic training and Basic Chainsaw training. This is an inner city setting. Training and safety is very high priority. YOUTH 14+ MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT, PERFERABLE A PARENT, WHO HAS COMPLETED LERT BASIC TRAINING. Background checks are required for this deployment. You will be prompted to complete the Background check when you register.
