High winds last night (May 19, 2022) has caused considerable tree and limb damage in the Chester, IL area. St. John's Lutheran Church in Chester is presently assessing the damage.
If there are enough property release's signed and work orders created, there may be a need for LERT volunteer clean-up effort next week. If you are willing and available to assist in this effort (earliest would be mid-week, May 25) please indicate so by responding to Bryce Cramer at bcramer197364@gmail.com (you can also click the RSVP button). From this response we will know if we will set up a formal response through the LCMS-LERT.org website.
If there are work orders to be completed and enough volunteers, a Deployment will be made on LCMS LERT asking you to please officially sign up. Additional information will be provided at that time as to what day, time, where and type of work to anticipate.
