The Nebraska District is offering LERT BASIC CHAINSAW TRAINING at Camp Luther, 1050 RD 4, Schuyler, Nebraska, 68661 on March 1, 2025. The purpose of the training is to increase the capabilities of our dedicated LERT volunteers so they can help those who do not have the means or skills to perform this dangerous work following a disaster. The District wants to equip LERT volunteers with skills necessary to perform this work safely and efficiently.

- How to clear debris in a safe and effective manner
Volunteers who are 14-17 may attend the morning classroom portion and become draggers, but only volunteers over 18 years of age may become certified as pullers or chainsaw operators.
