LERT received a call from Tulsa's Coffee Bunker about a disabled veteran in need of help to remove storm debris from last year's June 17th, Father's Day storm.
This work will consist of chainsaw work to cut large limbs into manageable segments. The segments will then need to be lifted by a tractor and grapple to trailers where it will be hauled to Tulsa's mulch site.
PPE for cutters and draggers will be provided. However, cutters and draggers must provide their personal steel toed boots. Water, gatorade and lunch will be provided.
Volunteers should meet at Christ the Redeemer Lutheran Churuch at 8:00 am for car pooling to the veteran's home. Christ the Redeemer Lutheran Church is located at 2550 E 71st St, Tulsa, OK 74136.
