LERT (Lutheran Early Response Team) Training Event, for new or renewing/reviewing volunteer certification. Enables volunteers to be received at disaster clean up sites. Prepares groups to be on a local team that stands prepared to respond when disasters happen and where victims of storm damage are in need of assistance. This event serves to fill a gap of needed LERT team(s), specifically in the Springfield area and surrounding counties of the Missouri District.
A registration fee of $15 per person will pay for training materials, certificate, LERT volunteer T-shirt. Your LERT Trainer will distribute all materials for the class and after the class.
Class will be held in the main room of the Lutheran Student Center.
Registration fees will be collected at the time of the class.
