Hope Lutheran Church, Wake Forest, NC, will host a CPR/AED training for LERT volunteers on Saturday, December 3, 2022. The location of the training will be 3525 Rogers Rd., Wake Forest, NC, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. There is no charge for the training.
The training will be conducted by a doctor from our community who is a member of Hope. The training will cover CPR fundamentals and updated information. Attendees will have opportunities for hands-on practice with CPR techniques and the use of a trainer AED unit.
LERT volunteers in the Southeastern District are encouraged to attend this training, which is geared for non-medical personnel primarily.
This training comprises Module 2 in a series of disaster relief medical training opportunities being offered at Hope over the coming months. Module 3, trauma medical training for disaster responders (Stop the Bleed, splinting and similar), is scheduled for January 21, 2023.
