This deployment will consist of work on two existing bathrooms in a community member's home. The work requires partial demolition of one of the bathrooms, completely re-drywall one of the bathrooms, install a new shower floor and repair some of the floor. A plumber and electrician have been procured to assist with moving and repairing utilities.
LERT Volunteers will conduct demolition, install drywall, install shower wall panels after the plumber sets the base and reconnects the drain. The project will require coordination between volunteers and the plumber and electrician. With the small workspace we will be working in, only 4 or 5 volunteers will be needed on each shift.
Our plan is to use tools and materials left over from the recent Drywall deployment in Copperfield and the bathroom deployment in Wentzville. Volunteers may also be requested to bring a few specialized tools as needed and available.
