This LERT (Lutheran Early Response Team) Training Event is or obtaining new or renewing/reviewing volunteer certification, enabling volunteers to be received at disaster clean-up sites. This training prepares groups to be on a local team that stands ready to respond when disasters happen and where victims of storm damage are in need of assistance. This event serves to fill a gap of needed LERT teams, specifically in Northern Ohio.
A registration fee of $25 per person will pay for lunch, training materials, certificate, and LERT volunteer T-shirt. Your LERT Trainer will distribute all materials for the class and after the class. Doors open at 8:30am. Class starts at 9:00am and runs until around 2:00pm.
